Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Ltd is a leading firm in the field of manufacturing of transformers, founded in 1981, as a start-up unit manufacturing transformers in small to medium range. It has consolidated its position in 1994 and the capability has grown up to manufacturing 400 MVA and 765 kV class transformers. The three factors viz. our sincere concern in achieving high quality, meeting with timely delivery and matching with requirements of our valued clients to their full satisfaction have effectively contributed in acquiring a major share in the business of Power, Distribution & Furnace Transformers. Since last one decade, the location of our Corporate Office & Works is at Changodar, a key industrial hub in Gujarat State and very close to the city of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, the capital of state. Our certification as an ISO 9001:2000 company in the year 1997 has not only enabled us to expand our clientele list which has reached to an international level but also help us expand our export business to over 25 countries includes Canada, USA, UK, and some leading Asian and African markets. Our turnover which was 4.7 million US $ in 2001 has exponentially grown to 96 M US $ in 2008-09.On our way toward the path of progress we are about to set one more benchmark by setting a new manufacturing unit, a green field project, to facilitate manufacturing of transformer upto 800 MVA and 765 kV class. This is our largest and one of Indias most advanced Transformer manufacturing infrastructure in Moraiya near Ahmedabad. With this development we are proud to say that we would be one of the top three Transformer manufacturers in India with a production capacity of 24000 MVA/annum.
